Beep! Beep! Adom groaned as she sat up in the messy room. Her hair covered her face in seven different directions and her lazy arm reached for the alarm. Instead of an alarm, the teen's hand landed onto the figure of a harpy. She flinched, pulling her arm back and turning to look at Xylon. "What was that for!" He yelped, rubbing his head and raising his wings just a bit for her to clearly see that he was mad. Why was he here? Adom rubbed eyes glancing at the window that sat only a few feet away from her bed. "What time is it?" Adom huffed, shoving her face back into the puffy pillow. Xylon grumbled, the harpy stretching as he waited for his human friend to arrive back at the lake. He kicked his legs back and forth, staring down at the water and the reflection of himself. His claws barely dipping in the water. Xylon didn't care much for the heat, his large brown wings folded just slightly over his head, the sun rays being blocked out and cooling him down. And he usually didn't stand out in the middle of no where. His eyes darted the skies warily, thick clouds overhead and blue to the horizon. With hawks and other birds soaring around, ready to snag a fish (Or harpy) for lunch. A day at the lake wouldn't kill anyone.

Only twenty four hours earlier had Dipper and Mabel arrived back in Gravity Falls for another summer of mystery hacking and plenty of summer work in the tourist trap of the Mystery Shack. Even Grunkle Stan and Ford had come back from their several monster fighting battle at sea. It was incredible that so much of Bill's madness had escaped into the world. The storm clouds over head clapped with distant thunder. Trees swayed in the strong winds, turning them this way and that. Rain showered from the unmerciful heavens above. A single being soared and swooped between the gusts of wind. Although wings sprouted from his back and makeshift talons spread from the tips of their toes; their face was very much human. Gray human like eyes scanned the soaking landscape; somewhere to hide in the mess of rain. Even the wind filled clothing, was human in design. The hot sun beat down on the shining blue lake front. Green grass and ladybugs lay down, once or twice a dragonfly would buzz by and stop to land on the book cover. Large fluffy clouds drifted lazily over head, sometimes leaving a cooling shadow over the ground. This is what told the sleepy girl what time it was. It was summer. The croaks of frogs and sometimes the soft and distant call of a crow or other birds came from above. Summer. The best time of the year for any student or person for that matter, after the long year of work, grades, and friends. Adom pushed against the tree a bit more, her eyes remaining shut as she got comfortable.

I'm Storm. Or Thunder as I'm username implies. I made this account with one mission. To make sure people freak the heck out when they see another chapter or story in their inbox. I write G/t with hopes that I'll get better at it. I mostly write down short one shots, but sometimes you might find me keeping a few of my characters. I don't draw much (I don't feel very confident in my artistic skills) but once in a while I might pull off something cool. I have plenty of ideas and not enough time to write them all down.
